Arusha Lutheran Medical Center

Pictured below is Dr. Mark Jacobson, Executive Director of Selian Hospital. Beside him is the developing Tertiary Care Hospital being built in the middle of Arusha to provide more advanced care to the urban center.

The dark red container below right is filled with medical supplies and equipment donated through the AHHF Barnes Jewish Christian Hospital System for use in the new hospital, opening in Fall of 07. The supplies and equipment supplied have allowed the new hospital to be built expressly with special wiring accommodate the electronics of donated devices.

Below is the inside of the truck loaded by Intellamed with equipment from the warehouse in Saint Louis,
which was shipped through Minneapolis by Global Health Ministries and reloaded into containers for transport to Tanzania.

Each container shipment costs on the order of $15,000 to $20,000 US.
